Add Value

Before going to teach English in China I was told, “You can’t change the world.  Stop living your life like it’s a proverb.”

On the back of our Princeton in Asia fellowship t-shirts was a quote from Leo Tolstoy:  “Everyone thinks of changing the world, but no one thinks of changing himself.”

After coming back from teaching in China, I was told, “You’ve changed completely.  Like a 180.”

Dear Readers,

My hope is to help you save money by generating content that is not only thought provoking and educational but also entertaining.  The goal of this blog is to shift your perspective and thus, to shift the world around you.  I want to add value to your lives by showing you how to live without the next purchase – yes, I’m bad news for businesses out there…  I hope to convey outside-the-world ideas and methods to live life with more fulfillment and less waste.  It’s time to make the world more zfficient.

Traveling and attending Real World College this past year has been incredible in ways I aspire to convey to the readership with blog posts.  I’m hoping to join the thousands of digital nomads across the globe, keeping in touch with you in this space where I can create your next smile, laugh, tear, or fit of rage.

There’s a button down there that is itching for clicking.

A small amount goes a long way – gas for the tank (my belly)l, a subway or bus fare.  A big amount goes a looooooooonger way – a bed to sleep in, a plane ticket, a set of new experiences resulting in more connections and content for you to feast your eyes on.

Join me on the adventure of striving for self-sustainable, experience-centric value for the world.

Thank you for your support and remember,

“We are what we repeatedly do.” – Aristotle
